Monmouth Cap Number 2

I have the yarn and just need to power through the second cap, this time for Jeremiah. Here's the pattern. I had to learn to do a provisional cast on, which wasn't exactly easy! More on my Ravelry page.

In preparation for School of the Soldier, I'm trying to get in some period knitting. I made this for my dad, and now need to make one for my lovely red-bearded model (aka my husband).

I'm also planning to use my spring break to knit at least one pair of wool hose - for Jerm first, then me - I can get away with more layering since I'm wearing a skirt. His pants only hit at the knee, so I think his legs get a little cold, especially if it's wet (which it has been the past few years).
