And here's some pics of Zeke in the only sweater I knit for him... I still haven't figured out what I want to do for closures, but it's pretty cute anyways.

Baby Knitting!
I finally took some pics of Zeke on the Co-knit Baby Blanket - he's a cutie! Trina's working on posting the pattern soon.

First Sweater
I finally finished it. I just need to block it. Things I have learned after knitting this sweater:
- there is a better way to decrease for sleeves, and I didn't figure that out until after I did them.
- I can make up the pattern for the collar and it will still look fine
- my shoulders are broader than I think.
- seaming, while not terrible, is kind of bulky and ugly. Next sweater will be a seamless raglan.
- I am never going to enjoy sewing buttons, no matter how cute they look on Ravelry.
- I really, really hate sewing in ends.

Yay! Yarn! Must bide time...
Yay! My yarn just arrived from Webs. Their sale was amazing so I wouldn't resist. The sad thing is that I can't start either the Ms. Darcy (which is what I'll call it when it's mine - a feminist Elizabeth Bennet?) or the Coachella that these two yarns are intended for. Luckily, I don't have the right needles so I'll have to wait until I have time to get them.
Yarn is just so much more fun than outlines -- see my level of distraction? I was supposed to be thinking about Constitutional Protections for Medical Care Decisions. Need to finish Substantive Due Process / Right to privacy and then I'll be done. Next I have to start with the practice exams and the memorizing of that darn outline.

Updates
I'm still trying to finish my A-line sweater - I'm nearly done with the second sleeve, I just have to do the collar, block and put it together.
I have also ordered yarn to knit a summer tank top, called Coachella, after the music festival in Indio. I've never been to Coachella, but this is so cute, I decided to make it. The yarn arrives tomorrow, but I can't knit on it until after finals.

a-line sweater
I knit almost all day yesterday while dog sitting, and I made really good progress on this sweater. I'm hoping to get it done this week. It's kind of warm, but luckily, It's the bay area - I'll probably be cold again in June.

My first sweater
I think I'm a fairly accomplished knitter, but for some reason, I've never undertaken the challenge of knitting a sweater - mostly the issue was to commit to buying so much yarn at once. But at Stitches West, I found a great deal on Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superbulky, so now I am doing it! You can see more on my ravelry projects page, and I'll post a picture when I'm done.
