Yay! New swift and ball winder. After an epic hand ball-winding experience preparing for Tempest, I decided it was really time to buy a ball winder. And since the swift was on sale too, I got one of those. How much time did I waste winding balls? Now I don't have to do it any more! So wonderful.

Finished!

Finished!, originally uploaded by Mrs. Jeffrye.

I finally finished something! It's been a big break in projects for me, but I'm glad to have finally finished my Wicked sweater. It's wicked awesome.

Next up should be something yellow - I just got back from Stitches West and got a bunch of yarn (see my Ravelry Queue), and I also got a bunch more sock yarn, which I am excited to use. I think I may need new needles though, I'm not sure.

Tea Cozy

Tea Cozy, originally uploaded by Mrs. Jeffrye.

I finally finished something! This is super pretty and works really well. I completely made up the pattern as I went, which was kind of liberating and entertaining. I'm excited that I'm a good enough knitter to make it up!

Wow! Long time no knit

I know - it's been a long time since I last posted. Unfortunately, I've been super busy (darn law school + moving), and haven't been knitting at all. But I've been picking up the needles recently, since classes ended, and I'm hoping to post about my projects as soon as I get my camera

Coachella Tank - Finished

Coachella Tank - Finished, originally uploaded by Mrs. Jeffrye.

Finally finished something! This darn thing is going to be awkward to wear till I find a good tank to wear under it - it is VERY low in front. But I like it too.

to frog or not to frog?

to frog or not to frog, originally uploaded by Mrs. Jeffrye.

that is the question. i tried this on after i joined the armholes, and it seemed a little tight around the armpit, which would defeat the purpose of a cool tank top. i kept knitting anyway, and then i thought about it, and i think i won't like the shirt if it's really tight at the armpits, and i probably messed up by not making the front long enough. so i think i'm going to frog and start over. in fact, i think i'm going to make an xs, so it'll be less booby-tastic.

i'm kind of sad that i didn't finish it, and i'm trying to decide if i should take it with us to north carolina. i guess i could knit it on the plane.

Thuja

Thuja, originally uploaded by Mrs. Jeffrye.

In my effort to not begin any new projects until after finals, I've been picking up my unfinished objects. I'm finished these socks for Jerm - I had one sock hanging around waiting to be grafted for like 2 months, and then I decided to finish and knit the other one in like a day and a half. This is a super-easy pattern, almost too easy, but it was a very quick knit, when I decided to knit it. It wasn't exactly inspiring, though. Oh, and I love this yarn.
