My first sweater

I think I'm a fairly accomplished knitter, but for some reason, I've never undertaken the challenge of knitting a sweater - mostly the issue was to commit to buying so much yarn at once. But at Stitches West, I found a great deal on Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superbulky, so now I am doing it! You can see more on my ravelry projects page, and I'll post a picture when I'm done.

Trina talked me into going to Stitches West in San Jose with her today, and I had so much fun, and bought too much yarn!

We also got to meet Jess and Casey, the founders of Ravelry! I felt shy like I do when I meet "famous" people. Very cool day.

i knitted these up for jerm's co-worker who's expecting a baby. they are so darned cuite! i modified this pattern, replacing the buttons for ties (since i didn't have time for find buttons).
